Server Migration & Optimization

We migrate your existing infrastructure to modern cloud platforms with zero downtime, optimizing for performance and security

Who This Service Is For

You don't have to live with slow, expensive, or insecure infrastructure

Many companies stay locked into a hosting or VPS provider they chose for quick start. As traffic grows, the site slows down, bills inflate, and security vulnerabilities accumulate; but because it 'works,' intervention is postponed. The result: poor user experience, SEO performance loss, unnecessary monthly costs, and a security risk waiting to explode.

ANES Technology's Server Migration & Optimization service solves this problem with a zero-downtime promise. First, we conduct a detailed infrastructure audit: existing server configuration, resource usage, performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and cost optimization opportunities are documented. Then, the new target infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, or OVH) is prepared.

During migration, DNS routing is done gradually; data consistency is guaranteed through database replication. At cutover (final transition), users move to the new infrastructure without noticing. After migration, your infrastructure becomes much faster and more secure than it was on day one — with Nginx optimization, caching strategy, CDN integration, and security hardening.

Problem & Solution

The problem we solve

The Challenges

  • × Existing server being slow, expensive, or insufficient capacity
  • × Risk of downtime and data loss during migration
  • × Outdated SSL, open ports, and old software versions
  • × Infrastructure with unclear ownership and no documentation

The ANES Solution

  • Zero-downtime (blue-green / DNS-cutover) migration method
  • Full data consistency through database replication
  • Up-to-date Linux, certified SSL, WAF, and DDoS protection
  • All configuration delivered as Infrastructure as Code
Our Approach

5-stage methodology for risk-free migration

Approval at every stage; rollback plan always ready.

01

Infrastructure Audit

Existing server, resource usage, security vulnerabilities, and cost analysis are reported.

02

Target Architecture Design

New infrastructure (AWS, DO, Hetzner) is selected; capacity and cost are optimized.

03

Staging Migration

Identical copy on new infrastructure is set up, tested, and performance compared.

04

Cutover

DNS is gradually redirected; users on new infrastructure without downtime.

05

Optimization & Monitoring

Nginx, cache, CDN, security hardening; Prometheus + Grafana monitoring set up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our customers' most frequent questions

01 Is zero-downtime migration really possible?

Yes, completely possible with the right methodology. Method: we set up an identical copy on the new server, replicate the database, lower DNS TTL beforehand, redirect DNS to the new IP at cutover. The old server stays running for a few more days; once all traffic has moved, it's shut down. We also have an instant rollback plan ready for risky scenarios.

02 Between which providers do you migrate?

AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, OVH, Contabo, Linode, plus all major Turkish providers (Vargonen, Atlantik, Türk Telekom). Target provider selection considers budget, location (data residency), performance needs, and technical requirements together.

03 What kind of cost savings should I expect?

We typically observe 40-60% savings. Most common reasons: oversized servers (rightsizing), turning off unused resources, switching to more cost-effective providers, and reducing server load through cache/CDN. The savings figure is calculated upfront in the cost analysis report.

04 WordPress, Laravel, .NET, Node.js — which technologies are supported?

All modern stacks running on Linux: WordPress, Laravel, Symfony, .NET (Linux + Kestrel), Node.js, Python (Django, FastAPI), Ruby on Rails, Go applications, static sites (Astro, Next.js, Hugo). For older .NET Framework projects on Windows Server, we also offer Windows-to-Linux modernization.

05 Does post-migration server management stay with you?

Your choice. We offer fully managed service for those who want it: monthly security updates, monitoring, backup checks, capacity optimization. Customers who wish can take over management with all documentation; all configuration is delivered versioned as Docker Compose or Ansible.

06 For GDPR/KVKK, should my data be in a specific region?

Data protection regulations have specific rules about cross-border data transfers. For Turkish customers, we prefer Turkey-located servers (Vargonen, Atlantik, AWS Istanbul region). For EU customers, Hetzner Germany/Finland; for US market, AWS US-East are typical choices. Data residency map is clarified in the migration plan.
